Q: Is the appvisor free?
A: Yes it’s totally free and it will remain so.
Q: How can I update the list of apps in the appvisor?
A: Just pull down the list and the list of apps will be refreshed.
Q: How can I give my feedback about the appvisor? How do I report a bug or a missing feature in the appvisor?
A: On the “What’s new?” page there is a button on the top right side where you can click to enter automatically our feedback page. Your feedback will be posted anonymously on the Swisscom Labs site. Alternatively, you can also login/register to the Swisscom Labs to send us your comments. We will take into account all your comments to improve the appvisor regularly.
Q: I found a cool app for my friend. How can I tell him/her that?
A: There’s a tell-a-friend function on the description page of the apps. On the same place there’s also the button for Rating&Review.
Q: How can I choose my favorite categories?
A: Go to the settings page. There you will find a Categories-button. Just click it and choose your favorites. It’s exactly the same with your location.
Q: How can I find the apps of my city?
A: On the categories scrollbar you will find the different cities.
Q: Are the apps displayed on the appvisor the same as on the Appstore?
A: Yes and No. We make sure that we propose only the apps that are relevant to Switzerland.
Q: I am an app developer and I want to get my app listed on the appvisor. How do I proceed?
A: Please contact us at group.appvisor-promotion@swisscom.com with your contact information and the name of your app. We will get in touch with you promptly.

I never tried the appvisor before and I hope it as effective as you say it is, time is money and saving time can make a world of difference for a busy customer. I'll try to install it with the new exe file extension, there shouldn't be any problems here, thanks for sharing!

We would like to know what you think of the categories scrolbar on the apps screen as some customers are experiencing some problems with it: can you all see all the categories and locations displayed? It the scrollbar reacting fast enough? Kindly let us know, we might change it for something else.

I would like to report a trouble I found while using appvisor:
I'm using an iPhone 3GS in iOS 3.1.3 and appvisor crashes when I want to comment an app. I can rate it and select the number of stars but after, if I want to comment and I go on "Title", the app crashes.

We are investigating this crash. In the meantime, you may want to uninstall and reinstall the appvisor, ti sometimes does the trick!

That's a pretty cool and promising app. One user experience issue that annoys me a bit at the moment :
I use the french version of Appvisor but when I want to read the details of an app, the description is displayed in German even if on the appstore this app has a valid description in French, German, English...
Do you plan to fix that?
And finally a question: how is the "local" characteristic of an app is defined?

Yes we are going to support multiple text descriptions in the near future so you should see app descriptions in your language. We hope to get this done very soon.
We define local apps based on your current geolocation or your default location in a given radius. If you have found any inconsistencies, feel free to use the feedback channel to tell us and we will look into it. Thanks for the great feedback!!!
